Black and White Monday

Black and White Monday

I’m working on a couple of book reviews but I’m not happy with them so back to the editing. In the meantime, my photo club is coming up and I’ve committed myself to submitting black and white for the next couple of months. So this is just a quick post with some black and white film or monochrome digital.

Feel free to comment. Do you like what you see of is the lack of color not your jam?

I used a flash to accent the scooter and draw your attention to it. I liked the people walking in the background, as if they were coming back to it.
Train at Birmingham, England

When I was young I thought building more freeways was the right thing to do. But decades later I see the mistake of building highways instead of trains. When I’m out of the US I take trains every chance I get. They work well, are efficient and clean. They even run on time. I don’t miss my car on vacation

Trains or tickets?

You can some as you are. Board the train for work or to visit. I think I was playing with vanishing point here.

Mt. San Michael, France

I took this picture while I was thinking about the monks who lived and worked here in the middle ages. I’m not sure they had the ability to roll the hay like this, but I get the agriculture vibe here.

I promise I’ll get those book reviews posted soon.
